GO REGIO | Booking & Safety Policies
1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, to protect our commitments to our local guides and private transportation partners, the following rules apply:
-
Cancellations 48 hours (or more) in advance: You will receive a 90% refund. A 10% processing fee is retained to cover administrative and operational costs.
-
Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance (or No-Shows): No refund will be issued. At this stage, all logistics, food preparations, and staff are fully committed to your tour.
2. Punctuality & Pick-up (San Pedro / Designated Points)
To ensure we arrive at our destinations (including the Stadium or Natural Parks) on schedule:
-
Your private unit will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes at the agreed hotel or pick-up point.
-
After 15 minutes, the tour will be marked as a "No-Show" to avoid delaying the itinerary for other logistics. No refunds apply for late arrivals.
3. Adventure & Physical Activity Waiver
For tours involving Chipinque, or Santiago (Cascades):
-
By booking, the guest acknowledges that these tours involve physical activity and natural terrain.
-
For your safety, it is mandatory to follow the instructions of our certified professional guides at all times. GO REGIO is not responsible for incidents resulting from a failure to follow safety protocols.
4. Traffic & External Delays (World Cup / Road Conditions)
Monterrey is a vibrant, growing city. While we pride ourselves on punctuality:
-
GO REGIO is not liable for delays caused by official FIFA road closures, traffic accidents on the National Highway (Carretera Nacional), or unforeseen city events.
-
Our Promise: We actively monitor traffic in real-time and will always utilize guaranteed alternate routes to ensure you reach your destination safely and as quickly as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
General Information
-
What should I wear for mountain tours? We recommend comfortable athletic clothing, sturdy hiking boots or sneakers with good grip, a hat, and sunglasses. Even in summer, a light windbreaker is useful for the higher altitudes of Chipinque.
-
Is the water/food safe? Absolutely. At GO REGIO, we only partner with high-end restaurants and premium vendors that meet international hygiene standards. Bottled water is provided in all our private units.
-
What if it rains? Monterrey’s mountain weather can be unpredictable. Tours usually proceed in light rain (it makes the waterfalls even more beautiful!). However, for extreme activities like Bungee or Ziplining, we may reschedule or offer an alternative if safety is compromised.
Logistics & Comfort
-
Is the transportation really private? Yes. Your booking is for a dedicated vehicle for your group only. No sharing with strangers, no waiting for other parties.
-
Can you pick me up at my Airbnb? We offer door-to-door service at all major hotels in San Pedro Garza García and Monterrey. If you are staying at an Airbnb, we will coordinate the nearest safe and accessible meeting point.
-
Are the tours suitable for children or seniors? Most of our "Magic Town" and "City Icon" tours are perfect for all ages. For mountain hikes or extreme sports, please check the specific age/physical requirements in the tour description.
The World Cup & Special Events
-
How do you handle World Cup traffic? We are locals! We know the "secret" routes. While traffic in Monterrey can be intense during major matches at the BBVA Stadium, our drivers are trained to navigate alternative paths to keep your schedule on track.
